Jomast Developments has been awarded Middlesbrough's large casino licence which is set to be the catalyst to a major new leisure and entertainment development proposed for the heart of the town centre.
The first images of the proposed £25million scheme have now been revealed by the Stockton based company and include a luxury hotel, budget hotel, banqueting facilities, casino, restaurants and multi-storey car park.
The licence is only one of eight such large casino licences in the UK and the only one north of Leeds. The development will transform the vacant Gurney House building as well as adjoining car parks and could generate up to 300 jobs.
